One of those "Multi Tools" is an absolute must. I`m not going to say which one is the best. I have a Porter Cable and it seems to get the jobs done nicely. Click the link below. link

Multitool and good quality drill/driver. The shorter ones fit our trailer framing better. I recently bought a Makita sub compact driver and it's very powerful. 18 volts and brushless. Worth a look.

HI Fortasha, When you say "toolbox" and list table saw I'm thinking you are actually meaning "shop". Anyway, first, like marty says, the multi tool is a must. It may be one of the best elect hand tools ever. Get a good one and don't worry about the cost too much. It's the blades that eat you up on cost on those things. Well I'm an old man, a general contractor and a life long carpenter and woodworker and one is never done getting tools. With hand tools, if you like the feel of nice hand planes, chisels, etc, there can never be enough. But looking at your list two things I think are essential I don't see there is a band saw and clamps. Decent bar clamps from 6" through 24" and some longer bar or pipe clamps help in all kinds of woodwork----including a trailer rebuild. One tool buying rule worth mentioning is, don't buy a tool until you need it, but when you do, get it and don't compromise with the wrong tool. Welcome to the group and happy carpentering.

Thanks roadtripper- I have a scroll saw but not a band saw but they are pretty close. And I do have clamps, although one can never have enough. I'm also an amateur woodworker- build/rebuild furniture so I know my way around my tools but I'm self taught (which means I wish I knew what I don't know when it comes to construction).

In the tearing down state, i couldn't have enough pry pars of all shapes and sizes. Pliers / Vampliers. For rebuilding, a palm air nailer for all those dreaded twisty nails. And I second the votes for: CLAMPS (the more the better), router, and Kreg (my favorite tool).

I think the best tool is a computer and internet that does all kind of searches, like this site and google. Watch videos and read up and you will know what tools you will need.
But I like that you have lots of other tools already. Just keep buying as you go. But sometimes it is ok to see if a friend has a tool you can use for a couple minutes when you will only need it once and for a few minutes.
But what do I know, I have about 4 tool boxes full of tools at this point.
