This weekend. Swamp Witch and her mom created curtains for Tallulah belle, using some original, late 50's atomic barkcloth. She had been looking for months for just the right fabric, and her patience paid off.. . what do y'all think? Today, I took Tallulah to a local shop where they installed all new 12V wiring for the running and tail lights. Its good to have ALL the systems fully functional! I had never seen a Bargman Trail Lite illuminated before, and it is just the coolest detail on a vintage Shasta!!

That birch is just beautiful.... I love the look of a trailer all lit up at night with the curtains or shades open. The birch just seems to glow...

How do they run the wiring without removing the skin?
And you're right--it DOES look cool all lit up! Super cute curtains too!

How do they run the wiring without removing the skin? And you're right--it DOES look cool all lit up! Super cute curtains too! Good question! When I reattached the skins, I ran 14 ga wire from the marker lights to the bottom of the sides, and in the back did the same for the taillights ans license plate light, knowing that I would be taking it to a shop for the harness to be installed. This way all they had to do was run the harness underneath the trailer and connect to the wires already in place, without having to mess with removal of the skins.
