Thanks Larry, looks like a very useful thing for those who do lots of trailers. Best of all,I like how you spend your money, so we don't have to! The new place looks awesome.

Oh that is a pretty cool idea. I could use one of those for my Blazer for repairs out in the field...

I have some old truck brake drums, used a piece of flat welded to a length of pipe cut to My heights liking, drilled several holes in the flat to match the lug nuts holes and bolted it down. It is heavy enough that the five inch vice`ll take anything I need done and the drum doesn`t walk around on the floor. Have one with the bench grinder attached to it too. That might work good for Your shrinker/stretchers and You can then dance it into the open where there will be plenty of room for bending and tweaking aluminum.

For J Rail I'm going to need to do it at floor level. So I may bolt a vice into the floor or something.

I bought my shrinker/stretcher about 10 years ago when I restored my 67 Chevelle. It sure made things MUCH easier.

looking at these it seems they're dsigned just to be used with a vice. Anyone know of perhaps some hand held units? I don't mean the cheapy flimsy HVAC style ones but maybe more like the eastwood ones with 2 handles?

Thanks Larry. Watched your unboxing and saw that is the perfect tool to solve the bending problem that I had been anxious about. Gonna get one. Might go for a cheaper one with interchangeable jaws. Opinion?
