I think I have finally gotten rid of all of the rotted wood and am ready to start the rebuilding. I noticed when I removed a section of the floor in the rear of the trailer, that the 3 wooden frame members that the plywood floor is attached to, are not connected to the metal frame. I am tempted to use some carriage bolts to connect the wooden framework to the metal framework. What do you think?

You've probably already done what you decided by now, but I'd have added more bolts. Can't imagine why they didn't use any.

Yeah, I have figured it out, after posting this picture, I found where 2 bolts went through the angle iron that runs side to side. I did think about adding another bolt, but decided against it, although for the life of me, I can't remember why?
