Spent the week doing a full Rustoleum oil base brushed on paintjob and reseal. Rewired lights as it really needed it. Made a lot if little fixes. Even sewed up a nice little awning today. Moved spare from rear to tongue. Having removed stove/oven and water tank it was too light on the tongue weight and squirrely as can be. Have to make sure it has about 200 lbs on the hitch. Hitting the road next week for the coast. Will post before and after pics soon.

The paint was a gallon can of Rustolium OIL BASE from Lowes (about $30.00 if I remember correctly. Used a good soft 3 inch brush and it went on beautifully; put it on wet and don't over brush it and watch for drips. Used Spray red and black from them for trim. Washed it three times using soap and a lot of bleach to get rid of mildew and stains. Patched a few holes and used caulking and putty knife on a lot of holes and dings. Very pleased with it. I use my campers so am not concerned with a show finish.

nice, did you sand the paint after brushing it on? did you mix the paint 50/50 with thinner or anything, some do it that way.

Just brushed it on with a good soft hair brush. The aluminum has a ver slight grain to it which helps it to look better. Used it straight out of the can
