Everything everywhere I go works just fine. That is the one single graphic problem I have on the entire internet LOL... Really... Ya the ads make it through the pop up blocker just fine LOL... Changed the image to a JPG. Hopefully that helps resolve the loading issue. It worked!

This stuff just changes way too fast for me. I don't put this much effort into keeping my house up or my vehicles going. Weren't computers supposed to make life easier and save time? It's just too much to keep up with. Hamlet and his people agree. Just deleted the Facebook account. Enough is enough. After being on a computer much of the workweek, the thought of spending much time online at home just doesn't appeal. The Norwegians have it right with their "Slow TV." 12 hours of televised knitting, anyone?

Thanks, but... Does any one like all the new stuff on this forum and the new cluttered look? Some improvements are ok but too much too fast is not, IMHO. Just sayin' Forums, like trailers should be simple and stay lookin' like it did when it was made. Not with all the fancy modern buttons, boxes, bows, bells and whistles. The beauty of this forum was it was simple about a week ago. Not liking all the new junk on the forum layout. If you can even find the thread you want, it takes you to the first post, unless you find the secret button. soup

I was actually trying to make things more useful. I apologize if it seems cluttered as I am still in the process of making changes. It takes time as many little details need coding. Sometimes new can be confusing as it isn't familiar. I'll set things back as they were. I should know by now I can't please everyone. I was hoping otherwise.

Okay, I left the newer "new" icon in place but changed the layout back to before. I'll crawl back in my hole now.

Sorry NomadicMe, Why listen to me? No body else does. I wasn't dissin ya. I didn't mean to hurt any feelings. I aint no body! Its just I always liked the simplicity here. I was just sayin there are pleanty of complicated ugly looking vintage trailer forums out there. See google, facebook, tin can etc. That's why I'm not on theirs and was ONLY ever on here. I NEVER go to theirs. This forum is my first and last stop when I turn my computer on and off. It's my go to site. I would wait for others opinions before leaping off the bridge over my opinion. You know what they say, everybody has one, and I usually sit on mine! I've always loved the work you do here. Just look at that cool banner above^. Sorry dude, I'll crawl back in my hole now. soup

I like to listen to everyone's opinion, especially long standing members. I'll leave adding more functionality alone and address other forum features as needed. Like my dad always said, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I heard that often as a child. I had a habit of tearing things apart to see how they work.

Personally, I like new ideas/functions. Give them a chance before removal... Never hurts to try something.
We are a big community and what bothers one, another will like very much. For instance, using all capitols, large fonts and moving emoticons is particularly irritating to some. "Simple" posts are much easier to read. Yes, there have been a few complaints.
So, we have to live and let live in our little world to keep the peace. Off the box now, Vikx

Soup, Dammit, get out of the hole and back on your step ladder with your tools, your camera, and your tunes. Your voice is always welcome when I plug in with my first cuppa coffee. Your input is part of what makes this collective work, you hear? Nomadic, don't ever think your upgrades aren't appreciated, DUH! Not many of us have either the skills or devotion you have shown through both 'journeys' this site has undergone... we all love it but perhaps take for granted what it takes (took) to bring it all together every single day.
I should talk... I feel like an empty hanger in the closet sometimes because I haven't figured out how to do anything except reply. REPLY; You all play an important part in a cross country friendship none of us would ever have expected could come from some odd facination with 40-50+ year old relics. Every voice is important and every voice is equal, but sometimes some give more than others, and from one who ranks among the others, I am grateful, every morning, to all who do and record, and report. That includes you Soup. Got it?

I can roll with whatever changes or doesn't change. I do like the bold NEW icon because that's the first thing I look for and I liked the arrow to go to the last posters post because I've usually read everything else. I can see where too much on the page might look cluttered or less user friendly depending on what device people are using to view the sight.
But ultimately, you are the ones who created this site and make it work, so do what works best for you and we'll grateful.
And I agree with Kirk, especially that last paragraph.
Thanks Vikx and NomadicMe for your work keeping this site up and rolling.

I've been hibernating, so I guess I haven't seen much of the changes. Somehow I always find my way around the site, and find the information I need.

It's been brought to my attention that I'm not the only one experiencing some glitches in the board. I got this a few minutes ago. So, just know that you are not the only one if this is happening to you and it's beyond our administrators control. Hopefully, Pro Boards will resolve these issues soon!!! image by susieqilvu, on Flickr

"winter finally showed up"... I kept expecting to see an ice storm or blizzard (oh wait, that never happens out there) and then realized that your partner was waiting for that most famous of mid winter tv shows; the Westminster kennel club competition was tonight and tomorrow. Better take her to a dog/sports bar if you don't have cable or she's gonna trade that chew sock for a fresh bought power tool and bury it where the sun don't shine. just thinkin.
