She is actually a Nomad Deluxe, 19' and we have turned her into a Shasta deluxe. This particular Nomad was an exact duplicate of the Shasta.

love the pale lemon yellow of the seats with the aqua! Nicely done. I do have a question....where is your drip rail wrapped? It looks like it is on the front of the trailer skin vs the sides....or are my old eyes tricking me.

The drip rails--I always thought that the 'eyebrows' above the doors ans windows were drip rails.

The drip rails--I always thought that the 'eyebrows' above the doors ans windows were drip rails. Well that's not called J Rail. I call it Cap Rail. On the early Shastas they only used it on the front and rear. The top had J Rail on one side and a very long curved awning rail on the other. From there down it was cap rail. Bill may know if there is a real industrial name for this type of railing that I call cap rail. I've been meaning to ask him... BILL?

I always called it corner molding. I am going to attempt to make a new corner cap out of alum. for my trailer that will completely cover both surfaces out approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Don't know if this will work or not but if it looks good I will post pictures and tell how to form it your self out of sheet alum. My thoughts are that this will give a much more positive seal by having a larger sealing surface on both sides of corner. I will use the wider sealing tape to cover the entire area under the trim. Then it will be painted the same color as the rest of the trailer.
