Trailer is OK but I really like your dog. Sabrina looks like she is happy with her new home. I'm glad you found a new camping buddy.

Very impressive! Both the trailer and the skydive. You are a multi-talented person. I am curious though why did you reverse the trunk curve? I was asked to. Bob thought it would look better. It was tough though. Keeping it from buckling in the middle during installation was the hard part but we got it. This isn't one of my jobs. Bob is my friend who's wife had the stroke so I'm just helping him get out from under some of his work load. The owner is picking the trailer up this week. We are just doing some repairs to it. The thing really needs a frame up in my opinion but oh well LOL....

Larry, I have some rot in the outer rails, as they pass thru the wheel wells. I'll address that next winter but can get some pictures when I get new wheels/tires - Dave.

I'll play! I wish I would have looked into everything alittle better but for now I got the main crud fixed. One of these winters I would like to take it all the way down but I'm enjoying getting to use it for the time being. curb side at the door way just a small spot door had to be rebuilt new frame for the door down on the street side rear corner, just on an on it went and I'm sure it needs more but all in good time or find another one? :-)

In for an inch, in for a mile I always say. Just take care of one area at a time and don't think about anything else. Most people don't realize how quickly things go once you get the metal off and metal goes back on in no time. You keep getting better and better at it the more you do it. I've even just tacked metal on and put maybe 10 screws into the j rail with no putty tape just to hit a rally for the weekend. Then once home it takes about 15 minutes to get it opened up again and continue work. Gotta love that pocket hole jig...
Unless you run across a "barn find", they all have some rot. Some worse than others....
You have some very nice rot there. You should print out some 4x6 photos and hang them in the trailer when it's finished.

And the rot goes on (bum bum bum babumbum), and the rot goes on (bum bum bum babumbum babababum). Smell keeps pounding headaches, in my braaaaaaain... Yay, a rot thread! Just one "soft spot", said the P.O. He was right, it was one soft spot. 18 feet long. 40 pounds of moldy acorns in the subfloor under the stove. OK, maybe not 40 pounds. But there was a lot. ' Where the soft spot finally ended. Right rear corner. Left rear corner was the same, and all the side stud bottoms looked like these ones, split by the giant screws they used. When ya got no barn, you do things in pieces... Kitchen ceiling, over the starboard wheel well. Fridge vent (and dead fridge).Working my way forward after doing the back bedroom. Top half of the pic is the edge of the bathroom floor between the furnace and the wheel well, shooting down from above the plumbing ( against the wall behind the Skil saw in the bottom half). There was an active bees' nest on top of the black tank. Furnace works great. Little better. Floor done first, then the sides. You can do all of it it without removing the skins if you have to.

Decided to start working on my door today. While trying to carefully remove the glass, I broke it....only to find this inside the skin, maybe that is why the door seemed a little wimpy?
