Hi all!
My wife and I are renovating a 1958 Shasta Airflyte. We're currently in the process of rewiring. We're not interested in installing a battery, but still want to run our fan and a few 12v lights on shire power. Every converter I've researched touts it's ability to charge batteries. So I'm curious if we can get a way with a lesser converter since we won't be charging batteries. We're going with a 30 amp service with two 15 amp circuits. Any suggestions?

It depends on what a "few" is, and what kind. LED would be very low draw. A computer power supply might even do the trick.

I put a 30 amp 12v switching power supply in my last in-bed slider $18. Needs to be able to have air get around it and not weather resistant at all. But cheap and pretty clean DC signature if you want to put a 12v car stereo in. www.ebay.com/itm/311471730042

Double check a laptop supply. Most modern ones are pushing 18v. The 30 amp was probably overkill. The 30 amp fuse on the battery was what I based my purchase on. And a 10amp was only $5 less. I didn't run the fridge on it but did run the furnace blower a few nights.
