Love the color scheme and the quality of the work done! Do you know if your holiday has the aluminum wall framing? I have my eyes on one and did some research and certain years were built with aluminum walls, ceiling rafters etc.

I do know about the studs. Our Trav'ler is not an Alumalite...they didn't make those in 1964. It is easy to tell an Alumalite Holiday Rambler because the outside wall fasteners are rivets whereas screws are used if the trailer has wood studs. Ours is wood of course.
Holiday Rambler were very well made with quite substantial frames, lots of innovation (like aluminum studs and rafters) and by 1960 they were the industry leader - far more being built than AirStream for example. HR was a private company until they sold. Made in several towns, but the main factory was in Wakarusa, IN. I am in touch with the founder, Richard Klingler and his son, Doug Klingler on another website. HR's primary competitor was AirStream on the high end, but they also built models across the price range. Holiday Rambler is still in business today, but the Klinglers sold the company decades ago.

Photobucket has changed their business plan and now charges to host photos for a minimum of $5 per month. They will not honor the established connections and have left many users high and dry. Me being one of them. If you go to this FB page, www.facebook.com/vintageholidayramblers/ you will find a host of vintage HRs including my pics...you just have to thoroughly search their image library under my wife's name, Sonja Thompson. I sold the trailer a little over a year ago.

Hi Friends,
While I detest Photo Buckets tactics. I do still pay them $2.41 a month. It was an offer they gave me a few years ago. The only reason I pay it is to have access to my photos still and I can move around my pix without bogging down my computer. There is an extension you can download that allows you to see the Phony Bucket photos in the forum.
It's too much work to move 600 photos and they are inextricably linked to posts on VTT and RYT. But I pay the small fee with resentment.
