Great your getting started again! youll be done with it before you know it.
Did you take out the original fridge? do you remember what/where it was being held in? screws?

Unfortunately it already had been removed. It had a small fridge, which we got rid of and not have the medium size one. Maybe held in from the back through the vent?

So, I wanted to post the unfortunate (but nonetheless good) news here since you all have been so helpful throughout my restore.. I SOLD THE SHASTA. I didn't really want to, but with a family of 5 it just. didn't. make. sense. And time.. I just didn't have the time to finish it. I would like to say I do, but I don't. A 1000 things going and right now, there was MUCH more work to do that I just didn't have the time for. I sold it to someone about an hour away who is willing, able, and has the time (seemingly) to work on it and finish it out. I told her has to send me photos when it's done. On a side note.. it's not a canned ham, but it is vintage..and is in much more campable shape than the shasta. SO, here is my next (much smaller, but more spacious) project. A 1972 Apache Ramada We found it locally, and for 500 bucks it was difficult to pass on. We should have less than 1500 all in when it's done, and it will provide much more room (although not as cool) that we need to camp with. We have already painted, repaired ABS, and done most of what needs to be done to it. All the rest can be done on an as-we-have-time basis. This doesn't mean I'm out of the canned ham stuff / aluminum stuff. Just for now. If a 24 ft Spartanette *my dream trailer* jumps out in front of me I might snatch it up for the right price!

Welcome to the TRIBE. We have a 73 Apache Ramada. We've had it for almost 5 years and love it. Search out around your area and see if there is a "Round up"....rally for Apaches. Great group of folks.

Very cool trailer, Brian. Popup tent trailers are very roomy once set up. There will be a 'dream trailer' for you when the time is right.
I am not sure what is going on, but there seems to be tons of vintage trailers on the consignment lots around here. I suspect people have found out that starting an Airbnb isn't as simple as parking a trailer on their properties and running an ad. Both guests and trailers require a lot of TLC.

Fads come and fads go. The most recent fad I am seeing is people wanting to convert vintage trailers into vendor trailers... Hey Dadrambles I'm really liking that fold out camper. Looks like you got a really good deal. Very clean looking.

Looks like a fun and practical camper. The old ones are cool and we love em, but getting the kids out camping is way more important. Have fun.
