So here is the last step. The green two tone. My helper Squeak. Masked around the vintage decals And gave the fender vent a coat of Navajo White.

Thanks! I think so too. The green and off white still give it a good vintage look

Loaded it up on this lovely 70° day and brought it back home from winter storage. Almost had a stowaway. Hey Squeaker! Get off my roof!

Now that is funny. Open the door and let it in, it might as well be comfy for the ride. LOL

So Squeak the cat had made herself at home in the camper via the roof vent. I had it popped up a couple of inches and that was all it took for her to investigate. In doing so she cracked the screen frame for the vent on her way through. A couple of quick searches turned up diddly. Newer vents have rounded corners and these are definitely square. So I dug out some 3/4x1/16" aluminum strip and picked up a pack of corner brackets. I cut the strip to length and used the miracle adhesive Shoe Goo and clamped it to the frame. Then on the top side put the corner braces on, drilled, and put bolts through. Should be bug proof, and maybe even a little more Squeak resistant.

Today's project was putting in a backup camera. I picked up a cheap wireless camera with monitor a while ago but didn't get around to it till now. I pulled the tail light lens off and then the base. There was a 3" hole in the siding where the wires came out. It was simple to splice in the transmitter to the reverse and ground and stuff it all in the wall and then reinstall the taillight. I screwed the camera mount to the siding below the light. The monitor came with a bracket and a flush mount. I used the latter and mounted it on the drivers visor and routed the wire above the headliner and down the A pillar trim. Getting the umbilical cord hooked to the truck and putting it in reverse turned on the camera Now there's a low definition view of some of the other projects.

Very nice job !!
I just picked one up that appears to be the exact model you have. Yours are the only pictures I can find with the double closets by the bed.
I have some questions if you will.
Left side vented panel in front of the propane tanks, what goes there originally ??
Mine is covered with sheet metal and is just an empty box inside.
Any idea of weight or specs?
Since it has an axle, is it considered a "trailer" and need a registration or do you remove your truck license tag and mount it on the camper??
Any help you can give would be appreciated.

I know this is an old post but I have a similar truck camper made by Len-Dar, these campers are like a studio apartment on wheels.
