Hey all, I am perplexed. There used to be emblems on eBay and now I cannot see any available and VTS is out of stock. I wouldn't even mind an original emblem if good condition. I am talking abou the metal ones. Anyone have any good leads? I am sure someone does! Thanks a lot.

We have one buried somewhere in the basement that we bought before we realized the Compact didn't have one. I'll look for it later this week and let you know if I find it.

Oh great, no rush thanks so much I am willing to pay a fair price of course! Not looking for a freebie just a good condition piece. I guess even the remakes are hard to come by right now too. Hamlet, PM me if you find yours. Thanks again!

I bought this one directly from Shasta. It is a replica used on the recent reproductions of the Airflyte.  Shasta metal emblem by If Hamlet can't find one you can email Dan at Shasta. dtrachsel@forestriverinc.com I think it was around $85. |

I know it is prettier than ours, also speedier. I'll look this weekend. Jury duty, homeless shelter work and meetings all week. It's a good thing I'm only partly retired!

Wow thanks nccamper for showing me that pic and the contact info. It surely is a nice emblem. Well I was hoping to get one for a little less than that. Maybe the 50 to 60 range. But I know its a volatile market you take what you can get. Looks like for now if I am gonna be cheap I will have to wait for Hamlet and have a price thrown out there. Hehehe Thats ok by me!

So I took your suggestion nccamper and emailed Forest River and they said they were out now and that the supplier has discontinued production. This must be the same supplier that VTS was using. Well this is a real bummer. Thanks for the lead, I guess now I am stuck. May as well forget about it.

Earlier Compacts (1960-'64, the canned hams) did not have the chrome emblems but rather a set of decals. Maybe something mimicking the earlier design would work.
I saw a chrome emblem on eBay last week...I haven't been looking for parts lately... The seller was starting at $135! I could hardly believe my eyes. When I first started looking around at these parts, a decent emblem would sell for 25 bucks on the high side!

Hi all! I am new to the forum, just purchased a 1965 Shasta Compact and am about to begin the remodel process. My trailer does not currently have any decal or emblem on it. Does anyone know if this model/year would have had one? If so where and would it have been an emblem or decal? Thanks!!
