The diamonds suggest its a Jewel, though the paint scheme is not typical. Is there another above the front window ?
Looks to be a 1959-60 You may be able to pinpoint that with the Vin# if found on the tongue.
Little Gem also had a diamond thing going, but I think that's out..

A 5 digit Vin is typical of the vintage. On some of the brands there's really no deciphering, on others it may be laid out like this: 59 1482 giving us 1959 as the year, and 1482 as the unit.

Man I'm sorry you can't figure out the make! I really like the look of that camper its not like most I have seen. It does look like the mid 60s to me. Its definitely not a more well known make. Looks like an early era "toaster"... I know those teardrop lights were very common and for the most part did not continue into the 70s. Is there any way you couls perhaps snap a shot of the rear? Maybe there is the remains of a logo in back that someone here could manage to figure out. Looks to be the original paint job. You would think that hockey puck design would give it away. Never seen ot before myself.

Wow. Well I also tried to look up some early Aristocrats and I really think you may be on the money. Its an unusual feature having a window with only 3 jalousie panes. The Aristocrat has this, the same graphics and the same shape exactly. I think you may have found your answer. I am not an expert though but I think you are right.

Take a look at Road Runners. I'm not ready to settle on that or Aristocrat yet,not til I find that exact stripe : )
As for the Vin., I would decipher it as follows: 16= 16 ' 7 = This could be any number of things year 57,or 67,though I can't buy either of those right now (the appliances the main reason). 7' wide, Model # 7,July etc.
112= This could be the 12th unit built in 61,however that would mean they were not very optimistic about how many they might build in a year, so most likely the 112th unit built..

This back view helps a lot, and for me actually even more so leans towards Aristocrat, there are a couple photos of a 1962 that has the same different type skin half way up the rear just like yours along with the same window size and placement and baggage door on bottom right. The road runners I have seen do not seem to have a distinct straight line going towards the bottom rear but rather more curved. I could be totally wrong. Just my thoughts. If its not Aristocrat its an extremely close model style.

Admittedly, 2 features don't perfectly match. The curbside front window on yours has jalousie panes and the Aristocrats have a solid window. Also, your tear drop marker light is closer to the door, the others have it right at the very front by the j rail.

Man I like it too its fun trying to see if a trailer can be identified.. I have alwwys thought it would be nice to develop some guide book of all the trailers with pictures. But you probably would never be able to get every single camper every company has made!
