Check out this link from a boat builders forum. No idea if it works or not. Often find things on boatin forums that are very relevant to our trailers. forums.iboats.com/boat-restoration-building-hull-repair/bending-plexiglass-curved-windshield-534246.htmlScroll down the thread and there's a whole tutorial about how to do it for $100. I'm sure you can also get an idea there about how to secure it to the frame. What about using a u shaped channel that is screwed into the frame? And then perhaps have a rubber gasket in the bottom of the channel and use the glass bulb seal around the frame.

Plexiglas yellows, Lexan's better. And you can bend it at 257 degrees, according to what I've read. I did a motorcycle windshield once with a torch, but a heat gun is better.

yeah, I also made a couple of low profile motorcycle windshields by heating it, it gets very very pliable with heat. I done one in the oven, and one with a heat gun, it was hard to get a uniform bend on each side up/down left/right, but doable, for a big piece I would make a mold the shape you need, and a way to attach the lexan to it, then use a kiddy pool or something filled with hot water, soak it and heat it, then pull it out and lay it on the mold, you should be able to quickly bend/flex it onto the mold, then secure it until it cools. of course I am just spit balling.

I also read that Lexan absorbs water, and that it is that moisture that causes the bubbles, and that the Lexan should be heat dried before you attempt to bend it. Can't confirm or deny that.
