Hi all, Great to see some old and new faces here!!
A little about us and our Loflyte. We reside mainly in the upstate of SC."Smiling faces and Beautiful places" and also have a little gettaway place on a lake in Alabama. Gettaway from who? I don't know as it is surrounded by all my in-laws and as my Mother in-law likes to say, "There should be laws against you two being married" as I am originally from CONNECTICUT and my wife from BAMA!! I play the banjo so she thinks I'm ok... Last Summer As I was busy gutting and bringing back to life a 73 Travelier, My wife finds a 68 Loflyte on craiglist. It's Friday night at 10:30pm.These go quick as we all know and my wife is yelling "call him Call Him" So we do and we are there looking at it the next morning at 8:00am to beat the onslaught. The inside was really nice and glampy. A high school wood shop teacher had done all the wood work and he really did a fantastic job. It was sort of a beach theme and felt nice inside. The outside, well... the paint was peeling and it had house vinyl siding across the front but nothing major. So we bought it on a Saturday, cleaned and loaded her up on Sunday and was camping at Edisto Beach in SC on a Monday! Basically camped in her most of the summer at Huntington beach, Edisto Beach, Cloudland Canyon in Ga and Logan Martin Lake in Alabama which is only 40 minutes from our house down there. It goes without saying that we had the dreaded CAMPING FEVER!
