Hello I'm completely new to vintage trailers. I picked up a very nice , clean , 2 owner 1967 Concord Travel Trailer. In fairly good condition. Has a few issues but is very usable as is.
I'm curious to learn about this brand and trailer. Is it worth restoring professionally? Is the construction quality known to be decent ? There are no leaks that I know of. Roof seems ok looks like it was painted with sealer years ago.
It's a cool old trailer but I know so little about it's quality, reputation among vintage owners , etc.
Any thoughts would be appreciated ! Thank You !

Welcome Rob1! Could you please post some photos so we can help you? It's much easier to evaluate something we can see. I'm not familiar with Concord trailer quality, perhaps another member will chime in.

rob1 to VTT. The very few comments regarding Concord trailers that I have run across seem to lean towards satisfied owners that feel they were/are solid comfortable campers. I personally like the "look" of a well maintained Concorde, especially ones with a yellow and white exterior paint scheme, but if I remember correctly by 1967, they are still "next-gen" (after canned ham shapped) campers that still have some curved edges with cool trunk designs. You would probably get the expected quality work you pay for, if you turn yours over to a reputable rebuilder, a number of the ones I am thinking of are active Members here on VTT. But, good professional work is not inexpensive. A pro might cost you more than the estimated end result resale value, of, say a '67 Concorde that does not have a birch or similar warm amber glow type interior. Note I said resale value...the cost could very well not exceed the enjoyment and pride you would receive from owning a Concorde rebuilt by said VTT Member professionals. We would love to see photos of yours or a link to your blog if you have one. Concord trailers were made by Champion Home Builders Co. You might try this link to Championfleetowners.org to get additional info about their group that is seeking owners of pre-1969 Concords. www.irv2.com/links/showlink.php?l=96Seems like the .com/.org links do not work for me. I did source an address in Elkhart Indiana for their Association. You might try to do it the old fashioned way and drop them a letter of inquiry mentioning you own a '67 Concord. Good luck. Thanks for the info.
I do have some exterior pictures but I don't know how to attach them. The exterior is in good shape. The camper was stored indoors for most of it's life so there is no fading of the colors. A few dings here and there but no major issues.
The interior is fair. Counters are in decent shape. The stove and oven and sink look as if they were never used and in brand new like condition. Someone put carpet over the floor which I'm removing and putting new floor tiles.
It looks very much like the one in the pictures but is white and blue. If 10/10 is perfect it's probably an honest 6/10 possibly a 7/10 non restored original. It was a fantastic find I think.
I had no intention of getting a vintage trailer but my wife loves them. This one is very usable as is so I figured I'd take a risk on it. No that I have it I'm getting more interested in learning about it, and possibly fully restoring it depending on cost and time etc.
It's a heavy trailer though ! I'm pulling it with a compact truck rated for up to 6,000 lbs towing. it pulls it but there's no denying that it's there. Nothing light like with a modern trailer.

I have a 1967 Concord Traveler called the Conestoga I think. Mine is gutted so there's work on getting it liveable. It's pretty solid. Not much information out there so far. I'm hoping for a schematic or floor plan
