After running the heater onto the door I finally got it open after about an hour of heating it. The rest of the doors got open after running the car at idle from 8am-11am! It will be over freezing today so we should see some melt today! (But still will snow today though)

When I lived in the snow we had some spray stuff in a can that unfroze the door and the locks. I never had to use it but I always kept a can of it around. Still have it actually. I forget the name of the stuff.

I forget the name of the stuff. We got that stuff too. (canned HEAT) It's for frozen door locks, windshields, not frozen whole doors frozen to the car body. (would need a case of spray cans) Door gaps were filled with ice (solid) and of course all the rubber door seals were also frozen to the car body too. Try to imagine a +1" glacier with a car completely sealed inside. Also EVERYTHING wants to break at -10 degrees. Nothing forgives at that temp, there is no bending something. Even once you got the door latch to operate, it was a whole other job to separate the actual door from the auto body all while trying not to rip the rubber door seals. It was a long steady rain here when everything dropped 45 degrees in a few hours and froze up while continuing to rain/freeze. It aint just a frozen lock mechanism here! LOL

Soup it is 37 degrees hear today and climbing the snow is melting at a fantastic rate almost seems like early spring. Now for the Goooood news, took the boss to the surgeon yesterday and they x-rayed the foot brought them in and showed us they the bone is showing healing in all areas. we go back in two weeks and if all is still right she won't be allowed to walk on it yet but she will start standing on it for a few minutes at a time every day for four weeks then off comes the fixator/halo and then a compression wrap for three days then on to a surgery boot and learning to walk again. So it looks like by March one she will be learning to walk if all goes well.

I have grass showing in parts of the yard. Everyone in this part of the world will probably have a bad cold next week after this round of weather changes.

Prayers are still being sent to you and your boss.
