We just bought this 1959 Airflyte Shasta. I'm noticing that in the pictures of other Shasta's of the same year and model, the Windows look different. The side windows in the front aren't usually louvered.

Yes the airflytes have a solid glass window in the front sides. Maybe you have a shasta 1500, they look very similar but have the jalousie windows on the front sides. Can we see a photo of your camper?

Definitely looks like a Airflyte, but those are not the original front side windows. My guess is the person replaced them because the old ones leaked or he wanted more airflow Also your wings are not original they are supposed to be more rounded in on the front of them. There is a wing pattern floating around if you felt like changing them.

Thank you!! I do plan on replacing the wings. Should we plan on replacing the Windows? In your opinion ,how much will that affect the resale value?

I think you are stuck with the windows because the framing has been changed to accommodate the newer windows. They won't affect the value too much and are not leakers as the originals were...
That being said, I'm seeing some saggy issues with the skin (above the door). Can you share some inside photos with us? I'm guessing your trailer needs some structural repair, so there's work ahead. We are here for you.

Thanks so much for the reply! I posted more pictures just a little while ago in "talk about your trailer". Are you able to look at them there?

Yes, I did. Thanks.
Be sure not to double post as we all read every post. Greedy for pictures, we are...
