Aloha Everyone!! I just acquired a 1971 17.5' Nomad Travel Trailer by the Skyline Corporation for $500. It was a deal I just could not pass up. I am hoping to meet others with these vintage trailers. I could not see paying $12,000 + for a new 17' trailer. Any idea where to get a replacement tri-louvered window for my trailer? The lower extension rod and right extension arm broke. I really would like to keep the original look of the trailer.

Hi there. There are a lot of used trailer shops out there. Check old automotive wrecking yards also. Its amazing how many trailers end up in those. Last but not least welcome!

Hi big Bill, I believe you helped me invertor shop on the other site. Thank you! It worked out well. If you are not in a super hurry, I kept my eyes peeled and found some old Jalousie windows on craigslist for 25 bucks a piece for a 73 Travelier I have been working on. I remember that windows do pop up from time to time on Craigslist but you need to do a wide/wide search. We drove from the upstate SC to Atlanta GA for these which seems crazy I know but all the pro scrap/vintage dealers wanted three hundred and up per window and I needed three so it was worth the 4.5 hour ride and I ended with a real porcelain toilet/black water tank and hood vent that I hauled off for her for free just to be sweet!
