Hello all, I'm about to purchase a camper for $300. It is in rough shape and the owner does not have the title. They also don't even know the make or model but are guessing 70's. I figure that for the price it might be worth the risk. All I have to go on is this picture. It has to mean something but from the research I've done I haven't found any info on it. Thank you. www.dropbox.com/s/i04g6ksdc6uicqh/20160625_115848.jpg?dl=0

Welcome. It's hard to tell from the photo but my guess would also be early 70s. There may be a date stamped on the underside of the sink or back of the mirror. Make sure you're not in a tough state for people without titles. Maybe somebody else will chime in on the brand.

I will have more pictures and info when I pick it up in a couple days. Hopefully it will be something I can restore. I know the skin is a little rough and I'm not sure on the process/materials to replace it.

That trailer was built between July 8th 1968 and October 2nd 1974. My guess 1969/70 Not a clue what it is..

We will have a better chance at identification once you are able to take and post a full photo of both sides and the front and back. Many campers of this era shared design shapes but with many there were some tell tale nuances in the shape. The slope on the front of this camper from the roof to the break inward and downward is not real common, but until we can see the rear silhouette, there are not enough identifiers to form an educated "guess". My initial WAG guess is that it is probably a decent buy at $300 and just maaaayyybbbeeee, a member of the Little Gem family...

The only other thing I noticed was it looked like there used to be a decal or emblem on the front of the roof. The shape was oval.

The Security Traveler, FAN and even Boles Aero trailers to name three that come to mind had oval decals.

Well I ended up canceling the transaction. I got too nervous about not having a title or even a bill of sale. I found a nice Shasta for $600 but he doesn't have a title either. Is it impossible? Sigh...
