Hello everyone! After searching for close to two years and looking at many falling apart, overpriced campers, I think I found a good one. I bought this 1973 Shasta 1400 from the back "trade in " row of a dealership lot. It had been sitting for three years and I got it for $500. It's since been taken to a tire shop across the street to have new tire, bearings packed and brakes checked so I can tow it home. I am SO excited! It feels like I've been waiting forever to find a good one in my price range and I really, really hope I did ok. Roof vent missing. Along with refrigerator. Old looking water damage along one wall. The interior looks great. Can't wait to bring it home!!!

I should be able to bring it home this week. I'm so excited! I just posted under the towing section with questions on what I need to know to do that safely & legally. Thanks for the welcome!
