This may be a silly question, but is there an outlet or something outside the camper at that spot?

There is not, there is a light on the ceiling to the right of the fridge that looks like it is one that only turns on if there is a battery hooked up and below the fridge and to the left is the propane heater

The black box is against an outside wall? It looks like a junction box for an outside outlet or light.

I'll have to take a pic of that side of the camper tomorrow, inside and outside and post it up. The only lights that are on that side of the camper are the running lights at the front and rear and a "porch" light by the door that looks just like the running lights. The light by the door has a switch on the inside right next to the door. The only other thing on the outside of that wall is the heater vent

The "fridge" is an ICEBOX! You were correct the first time, Fireball. I'm guessing the wires operate something else; that's either a J box or an outlet?? (might be for an optional fridge?)

That's what I was thinking but seeing those wires really threw me for a loop. I'm thinking it has to be a junction box or the possibility of being there if someone wanted to install and electric fridge at this point. I have a few pieces of original paperwork on my camper, one of which goes on about several different models of fridge that could have been used

I've seen some really tiny "outlets" in trailers, especially in the fridge compartment. They worked but wouldn't take a lot of amperage..
