My restoration project of my 1960 Shasta Airflyte is coming along MUCH more slowly than I ever anticipated. Right now, it's still a little too chilly most evenings to get any work done. And the project I planned on doing over the winter (refurbishing all of the windows) never got touched. SO, I've determined I NEED to get started on the windows. They are currently buried in a corner in my garage, carefully packed behind other "stuff" so as not to get broken. I would like to place an order for all of the parts and pieces to do so. I know from a recent tutorial that the parts needed vary from window to window, and ultimately camper brand and year. Does anyone who has that era of Airflyte that would have the same windows know what exactly I would need to purchase? In the meantime, in the few days it'll take for the parts to come in, I can get the windows out of their hidey place and get a work bench set up in the spare room of my house. Thanks in advance, and if not, I'll go start digging them out and make a list after I find out exactly what I'm dealing with.

On jalouise Windows you will find a number stamped that will help you order the right parts. I'm not sure about the side stationary window seals. I would be interested in knowing the best place to order those seals myself.

I'm not familiar with any windows other than mine, but I will give you a word of advice: don't take off any of the gaskets until you're sure you can find replacements. I discovered the hard way that gaskets I need aren't easy to come by. Luckily Vintage Trailer Supply has been so incredibly responsive and helpful about finding or making a replacement. Unluckily, I'm the opposite and let their emails sit in my inbox for months before I get back to them. Oops. I guess that's the nature of these projects?
