For sure Larry. I have actually been watching them off and on since I started. The problem that I had with my small Glendale is that it had been so badly renovated that it rebuilding was going to be basically building a new trailer with all new materials. Or painting it, which I did in the end, but I don't like painted trailers. LOL I finally feel like I have something where I can follow the directions you give in your videos and see something amazing come out of it. I have already been sorting out how we can rig some pulleys off of the ceiling in the car dealership so I can lift the skin, like you show in your videos!

What year is your Golden Falcon Wendy? You know I had a 1974 Golden Falcon about 10 years ago that I was living in after my Airstream burned to the ground.

I am going to say a 1963 or earlier. Still have not nailed the date. I was able to find out that they added running lights to all models on the top front and rear in 1964 and later and mine does not have those, but thats as close as we have gotten so far. My mom thinks the fridge is late 50's, but I think mahogany panelling screams 1960's so the debate is still on. I have discovered that it had a humphrey #4 gas light. If I can track down the years #4 was used, I may get closer. The vin number has been useless. No one in my Glendale group has ever been able to find a date based on the numbers. When I pull my fridge, I am hoping for a date on the back. No where else really to look as sink was missing.

OK Wendy. I'm kinda new at 60s trailers although I have worked on a few. I just never got into the history of them like I am doing now. Since I started working on this 66 Super Shasta I've been a little more interested in the later models. But I can also see now that my true passion is the 50s canned hams. I DID fall in love with the 66 Super with the trunk though. Now I just have to figure out a way to pry it outta the hands of the owner.... (shhhh)

Thats funny... I think I like the early 60's trailers because of the obsession with the space program, so starburst stuff, and cool lines like on Mad Men (the TV series) and also I was born in the 60's.. it was a good decade, full of happy memories! Were you born in the 1950's? Maybe we are all just trying to restore ourselves!

Yep I'm a 50s baby but it's the shape of the canned hams that attract me the most. It's such a simple design and it just works so well.
