Hi everyone! I brought up questions about the backframe gasket on my Woodlin windows a few months ago (http://vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/2052/woodlin-windows), and it didn't seem like there were a lot of people who were familiar with this type of window on here. (Though VTS is being very helpful and I'm mailing them a little piece of that gasket on Monday.) But I have a few more questions and thought maybe one of you might have the answers. Now that I'm cleaning up my last window I've noticed that the glass gasket/seal on this one is gone in one spot and slipped in another. I'm new to this and unsure about how to go about fixing it. Does this look like it could use the Hehr Standard Glass Seal from VTS? The shape is similar but the function is different. The Woodlin one doesn't go over the frame anywhere. And for that matter, how do you think this is even held in? I'm hesitant to take it off because it was after I did that with the backframe gasket that I found out a replacement didn't exist... If y'all are unsure I'll probably talk some more with VTS and order samples, but I don't even know where to begin.

It's difficult to tell from the one photo. Do you have more showing where the gasket is and the window?

Sure! It's this window, in the back of the trailer: If you look closely you can see the gasket is missing a chunk close to the upper left corner and you can see that the upper right corner has slipped. It's the top, light gray gasket in this photo. The one that's between the glass and the metal. (P.S. Does anyone else have those little locks on their windows? They spin around to keep it closed. Wondering if they're important to put back on?) This is a different window, but another shot of the gasket I'm talking about: I can get some more photos, some with a ruler, for you tomorrow if there's anything else that would help you help me!

Thanks! I'll get in touch with VTS and post their responses here. If there's ever another trailer in my future, I'm definitely checking out the window brand before I buy it. Never thought it'd be this hard ?
