When I got my trailer it was to be a quick fix let's camp deal. I cut a hole in the skin for AC. Now I regret it . My question is how can I make this install a little more palatable looks wise ? Any other install method would involve more butchery . Thanks

So is your question "How can I keep my AC and make it look more palatable?" I understand the need for AC, believe me. I am from the Gulf Coast and return there often with my camper. But I'm afraid that a window AC sticking out of a vintage camper is not going to be palatable to most or at least the purist of vintage camper collectors. It's your camper and you have to do what makes it functional for your use. Perhaps a cute, vintage looking awning above it could give it a little pizzazz.
If you are considering removing the AC, there is a fairly current thread on this. You are not the first to regret cutting a hole for an AC.

I've seen window units set up on slides, so that when you're traveling the thing can retract into the camper. What's on the inside of the wall where the hole was cut?
As a last resort, if you were to put it in a better spot, say so that it retracts into a cabinet, you could cut a new hole and then take the piece you cut out and put it in the "old" hole...
