I was going to suggest Amber Shellac but you beat me to it. I'm curious as to whether or not you have your own hand brake for bending the new door metal... I make my own door metal also and use a 14 foot hand brake that a friend of mine owns. I have a 3 in 1 harbor freight shear/ brake and roller that works for small stuff but just picked up a 1950's 6'pan brake which is a pretty amazing piece of equipment. Picked up an old 4' shear as well. Love having these tools. Oh could you show the pan brake please? I don't know what that is. I am limited on space and need tools that can be moved around easily. Does a pan brake allow for that?

Does a pan brake allow for that? The pan brake is as big and heavy as a normal brake it just has the ability to have some of dies removed to allow space to bend a pan up.Here's some pictures. This is the harbor frt 3 in1 and it's heavy (300LBS) but you may be to mount it on a stand with wheels to roll around. I'd like to move the brake comments to the tool section in a few. A picture of my 40" stomp shear 4ft stomp shear by Mike Rosson, on Flickr
