I use Photobucket to get my pics up on the internet, then copy the image code from there and paste it here. Pretty easy. I think there is even a tutorial on here somewhere. I can't wait to see pics of yours since I have a Tag-A-Long too!

She will not be restored, but will be rebuilt to fit our needs. Vintage look but more user friendly. paint washed off from her first bath. Convenient hole for trash removal. Water tank will require heat on outer hardware to remove. stove and sink are in NEW condition, just filthy! Before.... I JUST LOVE OLD CROME !!!!!!

I also have a go TAG-A-LONG. I think our is a 1973 and it is 13 feet long including the hitch and bumper. We do not have a Rock Guard on ours. That is a nice feature to have.

The "Go Tag Along's" are built like brick ---- houses! Think light weight tank!!
2" thick walls with 2" thick wall frame sticks. There's the beef!! Once the leaks and bad wood is repaired it should go another 50 years or so. I love how solid these are. You just don't realize how solid until you try to scrap one. I bet you could roll one all the way over in a driveway, (low to no speed) back up on it's tires, and it would not fold up flat and would more than likely still retain it's shape and would probably be able to still use it. The one I scrapped was a 67 and every vertical wall stick was reinforced with steel or aluminum straps at bottom tying them to the base plate. I like to never got the side walls separated from the trailer!!!! Heavier than a Shasta but in a very good way. Totally solid built units. This would be one of the vintage units that would be no problem putting roof AC unit on it. More than enough frame in ceiling as long as it isn't rotted from a roof vent leak. I love them.

Your encouragement has been fabulous! Thank you all so much. Have started rebuild, but have also been working so it is slow going .

LOL Not all of my Go Tag A Long made it to the scrap yard. What started years ago as tarps stretched across, went to old paneling from the living room, to aluminum collage re-used barn door skin that won't rot! Few more pop rivets, some paint, and a power source is all I need now! Sorry, just thought of you after hanging it so I thought I would post it for you!!! After I get the roof off the Lowflyte I'm working on, I'll have enough skin for the other door. soup

UH OH! This gives me an idea for a new thread..... Yard Art made from your old trailer parts....... I screw metal to the fence just to store it safely while I'm working on a project. LOL... Did that in Colrado.
