Found this is my 62 compact kitchen drawer. I thought it might be the cap for the outside water fill pipe, but it doesn't fit. Is it a filler cap for this year and model or is it something else? shasta cap 1 by ToddG58, on Flickr shasta cap 2 by ToddG58, on Flickr

It definitely is an outside cap to a shasta pressurized tank. Could be a replacement purchased by the PO that didn't work (different thread).

We have this one on our 65 Shasta. These are often missing or stolen, so you should be able to sell it on eBay or offer it for sale on this forum. Nice find!

Yep, have this on my 61 Shasta, it's the cap for the water fill. I accidentally left it on when we took her to get some electrical and other work done, I'm hoping its still there when we go get her, the lot is open and I sure hope no one ever gets the idea to go grab stuff off the old trailers sitting there and then put them on eBay!

Hahaha! I will never tell! No fence, no dog, nothing. My poor Shasta is a sitting duck!
