Does this photo give you any ideas. All you need is a bucket with a plastic bag liner inside. This brings to mind a verse from the Bible that we used to teach teenagers before we left on our wilderness backpacking trips... Deuteronomy 23:12 "You shall have a designated area outside the camp to which you shall go." I guess that has stuck with me, because the thought of going in the middle of my trailer makes me shudder. Yeah, I used to shudder too until I added the Fantastic Fan. ?

My other camper trailer had a flush toilet that flushed into a 5 gallon bucket under the trailer. Every morning I dumped the bucket. The plastic toilet is $120 at camping world. It connected to the water line in the camper. Push the boot pedal it opens the flap dump your load and squirts a small stream of water into the toiler.

Just my luck I'd get stuck in that lawn chair and not be discovered until daylight by the camp ground patrol.

I'll be using a composting toilet in mine. Nothing fancy, though I've heard natures head composters are fantastic. I just don't have the cash for that.
Colour coded 5 gal pail, luggable loo style lid, bidegradable bag liners, peat moss. Zero plumbing, low cash, ecologically responsible when you find a good windrow or shelter belt to dump at. And no smell or spillage. Thats a dealbreaker for clumsy old me.

Chamber pots? Oh, the horror!
Nature's Head, $960...
The reviews of the Laveo double-bagger scare me (several said they had to double-flush to prevent leaks, which gets expensive), plus it's almost $600 from Home Depot, and there's the $55 dollar bag cartridges...
I'll probably end up with the Curve, $109 on Amazon, and it seems nice 'n' simple.
Peat moss does work great in outhouses, every year my buddy would empty his out on the island and said there's never anything in there but soil and a few bits of paper.

Curve, for sure. No plumbing. No stink. Easy fill, easy empty.(Once you get the hang of it.)Inexpensive. Just an all over great design.

Amazon link here
I read a lot of reviews on the Curve last night on Amazon, and found where lots of them had failed, even after just 10 flushes or so. This if first negative review by K. Farrington, 28 people commented on his review, most with the same problem. There are only 15% of the reviews that are 3* and below, but other people comment on those negative reviews that presumably add to the number of defective or failed products. That review was posted in 2015, so perhaps they've improved that particular issue since. Basically, what people are saying is that the electronics are too elaborate and unnecessary, and lots of people suggested buying the parts to bypass that and turn it into a manual pump. Has anyone here had this issue with the Curve? www.amazon.com/Thetford-92360-Porta-Portable-Toilet/product-reviews/B006WPQNB2/ref=cm_cr_dp_d_hist_1?ie=UTF8&filterByStar=one_star&reviewerType=avp_only_reviews
