well I got the rest of the stuff from the lady I got the camper from. the table looks good, the refrigerator is rough though due to the fact it was sitting out side for a few months. ill try to get some information on it. and cross my fingers. and she had the back cushions for the bench seats too.

It's important to have the back goucho cushions for a template in case you want to make new. The bench seats can be rebuilt and re-upholstered if need be. I even know people who have done that all themselves and done a really good job too.

can any one recommend a replacement refrigerator for my 16 scs, I'm afraid the one that came with it is shot due being outside for so long, just wondering if any one knows of one that will fit in the same hole without a lot of extra work LOL.
thanks

Expensive too. The new ones are expensive to buy but use computer technology to switch from propane to gas and back again. They aslo are electric start which is a good thing. And no matter what you put in there if it is not just like the original you will most likely have to to a little work on the hole. I have videos on my website showing the installation of a brand new Dometic into a 59 Shasta that came originally with an ice box. That may help.

Question for you....is the bad fridge from your Shasta a Norcold? I'm trying to find a thermocoupler for one and maybe the one from your bad fridge would work?

Windows are not usually painted, but mill aluminum. They can be polished or buffed to look natural. If the paint is silver slop roof coating, your only option may be to sand it down and paint with Rustoleum Hammered Silver. It does look like aluminum or as close as possible with paint.
Post a picture and we'll know a little more.
