Today I built the sink cabinet. Then it fell off my workbench.....so I had to rebuild the sink cabinet face frame and cabinet AGAIN. Smh. Fridge cabinet is almost finished. I will post a picture of it if I finish it tomorrow evening.

Good evening all! I finished building the fridge cabinet and got it in place in the trailer. Tomorrow I am hoping to add some additional nailers in the cabinets for securing them to ceiling/walls/floors. Also hoping to get some minor things done as well. I will post more pics when I have accomplished something to show. Goodnight all!

Hello everyone! I didn't stick with my plans this evening. My dad is rebuilding my oven/stove and needed to know what color we wanted for the cooktop and appliances. So, we went and picked out a color at the local HD. I picked up some Rustoleum for the hood and fridge door. Now I know not everyone will like our color choice.....but there are only so many colors to match/jive with our floor colors/counter top choice. Criticism and compliments are welcome either way. I don't get offended easily. Besides....it's our camper. Lol. The color on the hood is the actual color. The lighting for the fridge door was poor when photo was taken. This is 4 coats of Rustoleum spray paint and 3 coats of Rustoleum gloss enamel spray. You can see a section of our floor tile next to the hood. The colors are very close. This might make some people cringe.....but I talked to the boss lady....and we might try to use this color on the skins somehow/somewhere Have a good night all! I will post more pictures when there are pictures to post.

I think it's cool. The more this hobby explodes, the less I like the kitschy retro colors. I half convinced the wife to paint a black stripe on ours to match my truck.

I think it's going to look good when all is said and done. That door definitely looks "off" in color. LOL

Cabinets are all secured (floor, walls, ceiling). I also installed the lights, outlets, and converter (nothing is wired yet...hoping to work on this in the evenings this week) Also borrowed Pathfinder's idea of cutting a place for shoes in the dinette bench by the door. The converter is installed in the same bench as well, but on the front end. Added the table and bunk brackets back in as well. Picked up the MDF for countertops. For strength, will be using 1/2 MDF with 1/2 ply for the dinette top. Picked up the ply for the dinette seat tops. Brought the fridge out to see how it fit/looked. Installed the hood vent as well. "Turning the corner" has really helped to keep me motivated. I plan to start building the door/drawer fronts in the next two weeks or so. Also had our countertop picked out....until chriss posted about the new boomerang patterns from Wilsonart being released in February. Going to order a couple of samples once those are out. Lol. All in all, nothing really to post pics for. Will do so if/when I take some more. Have a good week all!

Spent Saturday afternoon/evening helping my cousin run base board/casing in their newly finished basement. Sunday afternoon/evening my dad and I started running 12v wiring in the trailer. I spent this evening running the 110v wire. My dad will be over tomorrow evening to start wiring the converter. Have a good night everyone!

Finally got converter wired and electrical finished two weekends ago. Took last week off, since it took us SEVERAL hours to figure everything out. My wife did start cutting insulation for the outside. Spent last night buffing/polishing the remaining windows. Hoping to use Mother's Alum and Carnauba wax on them this evening. Also planning on working more on insulation as well. I promise to post pictures when I get a chance. Have a great day!

My dad and I finally finished the stove/oven rebuild today. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If the oven doesn't work we will just use it as storage. Before: After: Also, one side of the camper is insulated. Hope everyone is well!

This afternoon, while our son napped, my better half did some more insulation. I fit the stove/oven, cut the counter top material, and cut the new dinette table as well. Also went and picked up some piano hinges for the dinette bench seats. Hope everyone had a good weekend!
