Here's my sort of lame attempt at a blog. I wanted to document our trailer adventure, so yesterday I added entries that spanned the last year and a half. I'll try to keep up from here on out. Just warnin' ya - I'm not good with technology I hope this link works. sparkythesiesta.blogspot.com/

What did you use to strip the paint off Sparky? My Bellwood is mostly unpainted, but has a red stripe that I discovered was originally green. I ultimately not sure what my plan is with the outside but I like the idea of getting rid of the stripe entirely.

I used Klean Strip Stripper from Home Depot. It comes in a spray can and in a gallon tub. I may have used other similar products as well. There are still little flecks of paint on it. I'm not sure how much work it's going to take to get it ready to paint. Probably a lot.

Okay, so I heard somewhere that you can use Heavy Duty oven cleaner. Haven't tried it yet...

Great blog, beautiful trailer! Love the cowboy fabrics, too. You have a lovely yard, as well We saw a Siesta on the road recently on a camping trip, - it was white and burgandy, though. Thanks for the blog link

Thanks! I've never had a blog before. Lauren, was the Siesta you saw really round, or more like a toaster shape? Just curious. I updated my blog a little bit in case anyone is interested. I also made the pictures bigger - easier to see.

Y'know- I took a photo of it, but it's directly from the back and you can't tell the shape of it that way. I recall noting that it was alot like the roundness of mine- meaning it was more toaster than fully rounded. The back windows were entirely different from yours as well. More than likely a jump of years in model style.
