If they sell an industrial sized glitter bomb that you manage to get into an unsuspecting owner's trailer and it goes off are they then "Glimping"? If it was my camper, whoever put it there would certainly be glimping when i got done with them. Well, that was the first time we've heard of glitter paint on the OUTSIDE of a camper. This one looks like Barbie's Dream House with wheels. Ick, ick, ick. Why bother repairing the "skeleton" and replacing the paneling if you're just going to paint it like a Disney cartoon run amok? Ok, Hamlet has said enough. Alas, poor Scotty, I knew him....

Haha! Watch out for those anonymous glitter bombs that come in the mail! Be very, very scared, Bruce!

the more i read this thread the more i laugh and the more i like all of you people. you have all made my day today with all the comments especially the comments on the pepto pink abortion with all the frilly **** on the inside, my side is killing me right now.we just attended a vintage camper in MT Dora fl last weekend, we didnt take our camper because of truck issues but did go for the day just to check it out.there were some very nice restored campers there along with a few "glampers" one certain pink scotty hilander reminded me or the pink monstrosity pictured a few comments back.the obvious rot and puckering and splitting seams were not even covered with anything. i really cant beleive it didnt fall apart on the highway on the way there.and yes it was loaded inside and out with tons of pink garbage. even the tow vehicle was a mostrosity in itself.i keep asking myself when will it end? when will all of the vintage campers stop being ruined in the name of glamping.

My other Glamper rant ... is when someone shows a photo of a completely rotted, bug infested, no wheels left, trailer sitting in a field with chickens running in and out of it and says "Can someone please save this"... like it's a starving child in Africa.. lol

Sure wish you did not make me look... Lots of "Structural Pink" paint and plenty of lacey frilly crap holding the walls up.

Would you people stop quoting these pictures, I had to see it like five or six times now! It's torture!!!!
Makes me gag!
I'm trying to find paneling like what is in my trailer because I really dont want to paint...that said, the existing paneling ain't that pretty, but I don't want to be associated with Glamping! I mean, I do like having some comfy, useful pillows on hand and using smart storage ideas...but no lace, no crazy color s, no antique mall on wheels.... my rig will be for actual use...with kids-which means lots of real dirt.
I've seen some pretty awful glampers and I can't look the owners in the eye...my husband told me that I had "that pained look again" after a particular pink disaster.
Thank you for addressing this extreme misuse of vintage trailers everywhere.

Thank you for addressing this extreme misuse of vintage trailers everywhere. Check the link section. There should be a link to an online site with tons of paneling and you can order samples. I did not find the exact match to my 65, but came close . I may end up painting or mix and matching tastefully. If you paint, just be sure to take good. "Before" pics.
