Does anyone else tow with a vintage vehicle.....? Something close to when your VTT was manufactured. I see so many nice retro restoration's and period décor only to be hooked up to a modern tow vehicle. Kinda looses the "magic".
We towed our restored Jayco pop up over 6000 miles last year behind our 1969 Chrysler 300 convertible. Now I have the 68 Concord and a 1969 Plymouth Fury station wagon that i'm outfitting to travel together. All should be ready to roll by next summer.

I tow with a 1941 Plymouth P11 2Dr sedan. How is that for vintage? It is updated with 4 wheel power disk brakes, Power rack & pinion steering, 700R4, vintage air, power windows, reclining bucket seats, cruise, tilt, but it looks totally stock. And yes it draws a lot of attention.

rockerarm It is powered by a 254 cu in inline six that puts out approximately 285 horsepower. a Chevrolet block with a Pontiac head, Proflow stainless valves, Comp cams from crank gear to rocker arm nuts, 6=8 intake with a Quadrajet. I get 20+ mpg if I keep my foot out of it. Also a narrowed Ford 9" with SS axles.

You must have been around those things for awhile to come up with that combo. Love to see it. What VTT do you pull with it....? (I'm new here and learning about the different rigs the members have).

Our plan is to pull a 62 boles aero with a 63/64 mod chevy suburban. The interior of the boles is blue as well as the chevy. The welder who built it took a 63 chevy truck to a 64 suburban to make a four door. This same welder is the maker of the nova snowmobile, Nova . He build crazy cool stuff, and lives in an awesome storage container mansion.

We are currently in the market for a vintage tow vehicle. Preferably a station wagon, but open to anything I can add air to.

These cars make great tow vehicles, large & comfortable, plenty of power and most are already equipped with A/C. Watch the "for sale" threads, wagons come up for sale quite often.
