Yes.....I will agree to being labeled a GLAMPER on this one. Assuming that our 63 1500 arrives safely this week. I`m thinking of using all the colors shown in the reception area of Downton Abbey. I just love the warmth of the colors that they used. I am having a problem deciding what the exterior color should be though. I may ust go with a huge contrast and do the black and white exterior.

Can't wait to see it!(both your Downton Trailer interior and the new season). Every black & white exterior I have seen I absolutely love. What are you going to name it? Tom, Mary, Edith, Cora, Violet, Robert? If you paint it black, you can name it Matthew or Sybil

Ok, a tv show. I'm not familiar with it. I agree about black and white interiors! I've saved lots of photos for inspiration and the black and white are my favorite!

When I need a fix I just pull it up on computer and watch an old episode or 2 (its free) . I may call her Lady Violet or Duchess, not sure yet. We had to go to Houston texas to get her and ust got back at 4am this morning. Shipper got her 1100 miles but with 6oo left to go, her road side wall dropped about 7 inches which caused her curbside to lift up and break loose. Arrived just in time as she was toppling over....

Another Downton fan here. That sounds glorious! Do you have any specific ideas, besides the color scheme?

And now for the rest of the story.... Boandsusan I hope you realize that none of us will be able to rest until we hear the final report. It will be all your fault if we have a bad day tomorrow because we didn't get any sleep tonight.

Another Downton fan here. That sounds glorious! Do you have any specific ideas, besides the color scheme? I do have other ideas....I`ve been collecting little bits and bobs for her since Christmas . I won`t know till she is finished, which items I`ll use. I have a turn of the century nursery pot that I purchased on ebay a couple of years ago so I WILL use it but maybe just as a trash can as its pretty tall. I think I`m going to drape off the bed area with drapes trimmed with bobble trim which I found on ebay in an estate sale. Mr Sam (who we are presently using) has a basket theme though out, I`m thinking about hat boxes of all sizes for this one. My brother visited from England (I`m English) and brought me my first set of boxes for her . Its a set of 3, white background with purple velvet decoration and all stacked and tied together with lace. The floor I plan on a wood grain. On my next trip home, I hope to pick up a couple of horse and hounds pictures (fox hunting)for above the dinette benches. I`ll be looking for the pre-hunt pictures, champagne breakfast etc. I saw some super tiny chandeliers in the light district in NY years ago, the teardrops were made of acrylic instead of crystal, I`d like to find one for above the dinette table. A friend went to an estate sale recently and bought me a large box of a variety of European lace curtains which the lady (80+yrs old)had brought from Europe when she was a young woman. One set is plain lace but has the odd bunch of roses on it, I think I`m going to cut that set up and use it for curtains. Thats all the ideas that I have for now, its difficult to think of things that will fit the look I`m looking for but are still appropriate for camping and not just for show, as we do camp a lot and I don`t like clutter.

With all that stuff from England, you might just have to move the door to the other side!

That sounds great, I'm particularly fond of the horse and hound paintings. I have several friends who ride in the hunts here (there is no fox involved!) and one whose house is decorated in that style. I love her old, rich oil paintings, but we are going with a vintage western theme in ours, so it's the wrong kind of horse in those paintings. I'm looking at some vintage paint by number western scenes instead.

No, not a black and white interior, maybe black and white exterior. Interior colors will be, peacock blue, apricot orange, pink mauves, purple mauves, lime green and a soft lemon. I know they sound kinda yuk but these colors are what I`m hoping to pull together.
