The wedding cake part is supposed to be the taillight lenses. Roof would be much better off not frosted...
I just realized this looks just like the mobile home roof that my wife and I had...I was designated to get up on it and coat it every two years, and it was a 1981....I think the roof probably weighed all of 3/4 ton. Glad that we don't live there now, however...the truth is a 140 year old house is likely to have almost the same amount or more of wood rot that a 30-YO camper has...and proportionately is a lot more expensive to fix...ask me how I know....
After working with that stuff before though, if you do peel it back from the vents to reseal them, you may find it peels back from the aluminum in hunks and may not require all the diesel fuel to take it off after all...

Diesel? I know it dissolves black roofing tar, but it doesn't seem to do anything to the silver crap (got both on my roof).

Diesel fuel to remove the black goo, for real? I thought you were joking.

Yup, it works on the ole' black roofing tar, I guess via the old "light oil dissolves heavy oil" principle. Heat'll soften it up for scraping off, too. But the diesel will take the remainder off, I use a Windex bottle. It doesn't require a heavy soaking, just a misting.
