The full vin number is also stamped on the right side of the tongue frame rail about an eighth to a quarter down from the top and on the outside just behind the coupler and stamped horizontally. There is a photo of the location in another message on the forum, probably posted by Ross.

What can you tell me about ours? We just got it (for FREE) and we are going to restore it! Unfortunately, can't tell you much about what you might have. This is an inspection plate, which was issued in the State of Oregon. As far as I know, Shasta's weren't produced in Oregon. If it is a Shasta, pre 1976 or so, the vin# will be on the tongue. However, if you could post a few pictures of your trailer, we might be able to help determine what you have. |
