Okay I have 4 of these in my Bellwood-2 on each side at the front and one on each side of the front opening window.
My first question is--how the hell do you get all that caulk/crap from the devil off?
My second question is: how do these work? I think they are missing seals of some sort. Here is what I (think I) know--around the front rounded edge of the window goes the Hehr standard gasket, then the window glass, then metal l-shaped strips. Is that it? Is there another gasket that goes in somewhere? I am missing one of the l-shaped strips that fits between the glass and the window frame on the inside. Does anyone make a replacement for those? I didn't find any at VTS. There's no way to keep the glass snug against the seal without those.

Our 57 Corvette has the same windows. I'll try to look tomorrow but I think they have trim sticks on the inside, similar to Shasta dinette windows.

Trim sticks! I knew they were bound to have a name. Can you buy those somewhere?
And any suggestions on how to get that silicone off the frame other than just scraping and lots of cuss words?
