Our stove was missing, and back in 2009, there weren't any out there for sale (nobody was either looking for them or had torn apart their trailers yet back then). We wound up driving 150 miles to pick up a newer (4-burner) stove. There is still no pilot light for either the oven or any of the burners. I just light both with matches. The numbers on the oven are worn off, and it was in crummy shape when we got it, but with de-rusting, painting under the "lid" with heat resistant paint, and clearing out everything that needed clearing, we have enjoyed everything from baked chicken to chocolate chip cookies. And it keeps the trailer toasty when it's chilly out (much of the time here in the NW).

You can re-insulate if you want to. Stove shops sell special white "high heat" insulation by the foot. I redid my Cardinal Trav'ler stove and it turned out really well...

The insulation is inside the door and in the sides and back. You can take the stove apart and replace. It's pretty easy, just nuts and screws...

Here is the Holiday stove top in the 62 Shasta Compact. Do the pieces toward the front of the stove, just in front of where the screws are wiggle? all 3 of mine do, just not sure if its normal? and you said that is a working stove right susie?

All of the screws have square nuts on them. If you have loose screws, then the nuts have become loose and the only way to tighten them is to hold the nut with a 3/8" open end wrench and tighten with a screwdriver. Unfortunately you may have to disassemble the stove to a point where you can get access to hold the nuts with the wrench. None of this is difficult, just time consuming.

Its not actually the screws that are loose, it the opening where the tube is coming from where the knobs are then then bigger tube coming from the other direction goes over the other tub, haha this is so hard to explain

Beautiful little brown tone stove Mel!
It appears to be a simple "turn on the valve/light the pilot" oven control. Turn the lever in line with the gas tubing and try to light the oven pilot. Sometimes it helps to turn the oven t stat knob to 400*, as the pilot will "flare" and have more gas...
The little wiggly screws are tighteners for the air adjustment baffles. In other words, the air baffles turn or move up and down to restrict/allow air mixture to the burners. I've rarely needed to adjust them.

Ran across this DIY thread about someone redoing I think it's a '72 Bell...obviously as a glamper. I like the two tone powder coat applications to the stove top, and just wanted to add this visual, if you are considering going with just a stove top. The Bell obviously only had the top with a storage cupboard underneath. Just food for thought. Of course this has nice knobs all chromey rings, but I'd consider powder coating the chrome rings a contrasting white just like the pot sitter oners, if the rings are nasty. www.vintagerevivals.com/2014/11/the-nugget-stovetop-and-cushions.html

That orange looks nice, I don't think I care for the white grates though. I would love to have a different color stove, but If mine works, it will probably just stay boring brown. Blue, white, pink, green or yellow would be ideal for the color scheme I plan on having. Haha I just realized that any other color they made except the one that came with my camper would match my colors, of course haha My color scheme, I hope to amber shellac the ash in my camper and paint the exterior light blue and white

The tubes are just "guides" for the gas. They are not tight, just fit loosely around the valve outlet. Hope this helps. V
