Was looking for other owners to share ideas with about our specific trailers!
Ben
Admin can you please move this to the Shasta section? I didn't realize it was there.

Thanks for moving this Susie! Did you restore yours in a garage? If not how did you keep it dry?

No, I did not get it to fit in my garage. I have not really started on the 65 but my 62 is almost finished. I tarped it and it was not easy. A closed work space is ideal but it can be done by using tarps. It's just a pain in the butt.

Would you guess three months to do this?

No, I'm not guessing. It took me a year. But I replaced my ceiling and front and back panels, too. It all depends on what problems/rot you encounter along the way. I'm just naturally slow, too, it's a Southern thing

Oh trust me, I was stationed in Virginia for awhile. I remember I'm in VA now, but believe me, it's not Southern. I'm from MS originally.

Central. The city folk are yuppies. The rural people are more like my Mississippians.

Yep. Down there the city is northern and the country is southern. No doubt about it!

I have a 1966 10-ft Shasta that I got at an estate sale cheap. I am working on getting it road ready--am looking for original tire size. Also having a wiring problem. Any suggestions, info, etc. greatly appreciated.
