This Shasta popped up on CL. I called instantly and asked for more photos. A little background. The listing had only one photo. It was "in my family for a long, long time and we lost the title". "we take it on long trips, it's very roadworthy" "I will email you photos, it is all original inside. No water damage anywhere but the back window" It was on the East coast. Asking $600 OBO. I said, send me photos and if it is as you describe inside, I'll take it! An hour passes, I call to check on the photos...he just sold it to the first person to see it! Heartbreak. Do I need a 3rd camper? No. Could everything he said have been a lie? Yes. I keep telling myself "you can't buy it without seeing it". o'well!

You win some and you lose some.
BTW, you ALWAYS need another one.

Better to have one slip away using caution than to end up with "the pig-in-a-poke" as granpappy alus used ta say.
