Nice shopping. I'm digging the clock. Ya, use caution with the gas heaters, lotsa venting and use inside only for brief periods to warm the toes up

The clock is the best! I'm always on the lookout for cool chalks. Great little fishies, and of course who can not like a great vintage heater. You are the Queen of Black Friday in my book!

My "best deal" was the starburst clock.. for $5.50. And it is only about 12 inches across which makes it workable for one of these little trailers. I also bought a set of chalk ware fish for the tiny bathroom I am installing in the trailer. Hi ladywendolyn, I also like your vintage clock find! I took a plastic battery operated clock I had hanging in the garage and did some experimenting on it. It is now my 'almost' vintage Atomic Clock!

Lady, I found plain Styrofoam balls at our local Crafts store that already had the hole for an antenna in them. Since the surface was kind of porous, my brother gave each one a couple coats of white 'Jesso'(?) to protect the Styrofoam from the spray paint I wanted to use. The balls stayed nice and smooth for several days... then...the yellow paint began wrinkling up. At first, I thought they were ruined, but the more wrinkles they acquired, the better looking they became! Now they really have character! It was a fun little project. We moved the clock to the rear wall of the trailer once I built the overhead storage 'sling' above the dining area and found that the clock was in the way. I love all your interesting vintage finds! .
