Thanks Vikx! It isn't perfect but any work we do to bring it to par will be very rewarding.

Lilly, Your camper looks big until you see the truck next to it. Yeah.. The box itself is only 11 foot.. Tip of tongue is 13.. I love the low profile though, such an easy pull. She's perfect...

We have a '65 Friendship Vacationaire and a '55 F-100. We love that the trailer fits easily in the garage.

Hello all, posted my 67 Shasta compact before I knew how much it needed shortly after I got it, been working so hard to get it to what we want. Coming together finally. 5 months feels like 5 years. HAHA

Proud new owners of a 60 Shasta Deluxe. And of course Mother Nature isn't playing fair... She knows we are eager to get started, and decided to dump 4-6 inches on us. For now, I'm on the prowl for replacement parts. We need seats and a jalousy window for the curb side rear (PO installed a smaller hehr and gooed over the old screw holes).

desotogal, are you sure you have a 1960 Deluxe? I searched vintage 1960 Shasta Deluxe camper and the most prominently featured 1960 Deluxe is Tallulah Belle, and the 1960 Deluxe seems to have the jalousie window on the curb side rear. But I also searched for 1959 Shasta Deluxe (photos) because my 1959 Airflyte has the Hehr push out on the curb side rear and here is a thread referencing a 1959 Deluxe and it has the Hehr. If you contact Member Ross in a PM and tell him your VIN # he may confirm you have a 1960, or might suggest it is actually a 1959. I say this simply because I purchased a 1960 Shasta Compact from CL and when I checked my actual VIN # and the date stamp on the back of the mirror on the closet door it became obvious it was really a 1961 Compact. I was happy to know that the VIN was of a 1961 "run" of Compacts. lh5.googleusercontent.com/-F02ThAi_gfk/TYuR_KB5JhI/AAAAAAAAA-E/DnqjPn8Ydm8/s1600/1aaafirst.jpgHere is the thread to Tallulah Belle a 1960 Shasta Deluxe, it also like the 1959, does not have a window in the door...go figure...very confusing, I believe your door has been "upgraded/modified" as possibly the front rock guard may have been, since to the best of my knowledge, neither the 1959 nor 1960 Deluxe had a window in the door, along with your current door handle is not circa 1959 or 1960 Shasta Deluxe (imho). Whatever, I really like your Deluxe! shastadeluxe.com/Finally as Lagniappe I am tossing out this thread for fun viewing...it starts out with a photo of a gorgeous Spartan, but if you scroll down far enough you will see a compilation of Shasta Ads (from our now deceased beloved VSTF! waa, waa!!) that is a good quick reference of their canned ham models... vintageshastacamper.com/category/uncategorized/
