Had to go with a new atwood water heater. The old bowen was not repairable. Got this one for $250, not bad price!

All ready for some more panel installations, then the bathroom will be ready for installation and then close up front.

aloopdloop - Holy catfish! This is just GORGEOUS! Beautiful workmanship, and we love to see birch in the newer trailers, it doesn't look out of place at all. Congrats on your diamond-no-longer-in-the-rough!

You are going to have the coolest trailer on the block. Agreed with Hamlet...that birch looks so great in that camper. It is kinda too bad they got away from it, but it sure is nice knowing it can be fitted, and look that great!

To quote Hamlet and Number Ten that is going to be a beautiful trailer.

The wiring was altered to allow for an inverter and solar charging. The shoreline plug is going to go to the inverter/charger, from there to the panel in the closet. I seperated out the circuits in the trailer so that if one goes bad they all don't go out.

Also have a seperate panel in the other side of closet for 12 volt. This will also be where I set up the audio system. Yes, a little "not retro" but tunes are good, no? Sooo... onward thru the fog!

I think you mean "Converter" not "Inverter". A converter changes 110vac into 12vdc and charges the battery(s). An inverter runs off the batteries and turns 12vdc into 110vac and does no charging.

I'm curious about the inverter or converter as well.
The new inverters actually do a smart charge nowadays. They require a large battery bank to do a decent job and big motor homes run a lot with an inverter.
Personally, I doubt our little trailers need a larger inverter unless you are trying to run a lot of 110 items.

Can you share the dimensions of your bathroom? We have two good sized closets and I wonder if one could be converted to a toilet area. It wouldn't have room for a sink or anything but curious as to the dimensions of yours.
TIA.
