I am just about done with the interior wiring (thanks everyone on the board who helped - this place is a miracle!), and have an interesting problem.
Our PO (or one of them), installed an exterior light that runs off the 120 system (with a light switch inside). Seems like a good idea so can see where you are going at night, etc.
The problem: the light is long gone leaving behind only wires.
We are looking for suggestions on lights to install. Has to be able to handle the drives (if there was one that detached that would be fine too). We saw the "Spartan" light, but 86 bucks is too much for me!
Any suggestions or previous solutions/photos would be greatly appreciated as I wrap up the electrical!

Like the flood light style at Lowes/Home Depot, or trailer specific ones?

I would stay away from conventional filament lights, a lot of jarring will break the filament, LED lights will run $25.00 and up, for a cheaper alternative the newer screw in florescent lights will last a while, and use a bit less electricity. we use them in our vanity lights in the bathroom, the regular bulbs only last a month or so do to all the heat/moisture I guess, the florescent ones last 6 months to a year.
