Hi all
I bought a jack caster to help me make small parking adjustments in the driveway. It is meant to be removable and has a sort of pin to keep it on. My tongue jack post (?) has no holes though to run it through. Do I try to drill holes? Or am I barking up the wrong tree and should send it back to Amazon?

Assuming it has a sleeve that slides over the jack post it doesn't need a pin to hold it on while parked. Some people weld/bolt a stub to the trailer tongue to pin it to when not in use and some trailers that have a swivel jack pin it to the jack because it comes up out of the way when towing. The reason for storing on tongue is if it is muddy/dirty you don't have to put it in the trailer, but it is open to theft that way.

Thanks BigBill! You have been amazingly helpful! It it supposed to just slide over. I'll give it a go and find something to store it in for when we're camping. It'll probably be dirty - at least if we're doing it right.

Think something easy for storing it in...something like a tote bag or a reusable shopping bag is plenty, just to keep the "dirty" from getting all over...throw it under the bench or in a closet and you're set.
