hi folks, so my partner and i are also novices at towing - and we are having a bit of an uummmm disagreement on the whole dry weight towing question. we just got a 1956 Shasta 1400 - which should weigh about 1,150 lbs. (yes we plan to check that at a scale soon) - and our tow vehicle is a Honda Element - which says it can tow 1,500 lbs dry weight. now she thinks this includes everything in the Element AND the trailer - i say that is silly since the Element weights about 3,000 pounds already. so which is it? does the 1,500 lbs manufacture's suggested weight include the car AND what you are towing - or is that only for the weight of what you are towing (Ie the Shasta)? she is threatening me with the need to cut back on beer and loose weight - so we really need to know! no worries tho - there is no prize for the answer - just "i told you so!"(s). lol thanks for your help. tracy

Hi!
We just bought a 1965 Aristocrat Lo-Liner (13') and want to make sure we get the right ball size for our hitch. Any ideas?
Thanks!
