Does anyone know if the aluminum surface for the ORIGINAL 1961 Compact's wing is the shiny alum with breaks or the cross hatched aluminum with breaks. I've seen both for sale in the 8x36 size and am wondering which style is accurate to the original design.

Shiny with breaks. At least through the ham era.
